If you are looking for the best bubble mailers available, TopMailers has what you need.  Our bubble mailers are made with the thickest bubble and the strongest kraft paper.  This photo shows three stacks of bubble mailers.  The first stack is a typical China import mailer and stand 14 inches high.  The second stack is a very well known leading brand made in the USA which stands 14 inches.  Our brand measure 19 inches high.  It stands to reason – the thicker the bubble, the better the protection.

For the best bubble mailers available, choose TopMailers.com

Today we are announcing the switch to premium poly bubble mailers.  Like our kraft bubble mailers they are made right here in the USA.  The new poly bubble mailers are light-weight, self seal, and moisture resistant.

Poly Bubble Mailers

They  feature strong exterior film that is laminated to bubble cushioning.  A great new feature is the convenient, easy open tear strip.  The tear strip allows the mailer to be easily opened by the recipient, but still offers maximum security and integrity.

Chances are if you are purchasing shipping supplies online, you are a pretty heavy volume shipper.  Finding ways to lower your costs to ship your product is probably on your radar screen.  Here are 8 ideas that you can use to cut your packaging and shipping costs:

  1. Use the lightest possible packaging materials.  The heavier your package weighs, the more it costs to ship it.  Be careful not to ‘over pack’ it.  Use items like bubble mailers and bubble wrap that protect your package, but doesn’t add much weight.
  2. If your item weighs less than 13 ounces, use USPS First Class Mail.
  3. If your package weighs between 2 pounds and 10 pounds – and you are shipping less than 4 zones, consider USPS Priority Mail.
  4. Buy you shipping materials in bulk.  Online retailers, like TopMailers.com, offer excellent prices for larger volumes of poly mailers, bubble mailers, boxes, etc.
  5. Use a single carrier to ship the majority of your items.  You will have better negotiation power and you will become more familiar with their system to avoid unforeseen add-0n fees.
  6. Try to use envelopes (poly mailers, bubble mailers, poly bubble mailers) instead of a box whenever possible.  The envelope will cost less and weigh less.
  7. Make sure your product fits within the dimensional limits of your carrier.  Typically, the cubic size of your package (HxWxL) will have to be less than 5,200 cubic inches.  You will be hit with big fees if you exceed this limit.
  8. Try to ship your package to your customer’s business address rather than their home.  There is usually about a $2 fee to ship to a home address.

If you’re like most people, finding the right size of bubble mailers to ship your item can be a little tricky. Sure, you can see that a #000 bubble mailer is 4″ x 8″ and a #5 is 10 1/2″ x 16″, but sometimes it’s hard to visualize what fits in what size bubble mailer.

So we thought we would make a list of common items and the perfect bubble mailer to use to ship them.

#000- 4″ x 8″: baseball cards, coins, jewelry, medicine bottles

#00- 5 3/4″ x 9″: cell phones

#0 – 6″ x 10″: 1 DVD, 1 CD,XBOX game,

#1-7.5″ x 12″:

#2- 8.5″ x 12″: 2 DVDs, note pads

#3 – 8.5″ x 14.5″: 3 DVDs,

If you want to measure your product to make sure you are buying the right size mailer, follow this simple formula:

For the minimum width (opening) of the mailer:

  • Add the Width of product (inches) + Thickness of product (inches) + ½ inch

For the minimum length of the mailer:

  • Add the Length of product (inches) + Thickness of product (inches) + 2½ inches

The correct mailer size must be larger than the minimum calculated size in BOTH dimensions.
